Ashley started practicing yoga in 2016 to help recover from the burnout she experienced early in her nursing career. The Barefoot Haven was her first home studio. It was where she was able to get out of her head and tune into her body. She found the powerful connection between breath and movement in classes taught by Jenny. It didn't take long for her to feel the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of a regular asana practice. She waited several years before enrolling in a yoga teacher training program. In 2025 Ashley, with much encouragement from Jenny, completed her 200-hour yoga teacher certification at Tosa Yoga Center.
Her goal is to create a supportive environment where people can connect to their breath and body through movement, to experience the benefits of yoga both on and off the mat.
