For over 20 years, John was a member of a local health club where he lifted weights and was a fan of cardio. At the time, he knew he wanted something different and more beneficial. John has always been intrigued by the motion of yoga but didn't know its endless benefits. January 1, 2009 was his first yoga practice. This mind/body discipline awakened his inner vision through the third eye chakra of intuition and imagination. From the past into the present, he has been inspired from the range of knowledge he has achieved from self-study and training at Yama Yoga in Milwaukee, WI in 2014. John's ongoing study of the body and yoga continues to illuminate the importance of his practice. He enjoys teaching and practicing meditation along with his gardening skills to discover inner peace. On his enlightened path, he has learned various techniques in Hatha, Anusara and Ashtanga yoga styles. John's classes combine vinyasa - flowing, pranayama - breathing, vidya - knowledge and dhyana - meditation. Combining all of these can help balance your mind, body and spirit leading you to a state of peacefulness. John is registered through Yoga Alliance & is a certified yoga instructor.
